Premiere San Antonio returns for its fourth edition August 30-31 at the Henry B. González Convention Center, with more than 180 complimentary classes included in every registration and more than 100 exhibitors on the show floor. SalonCentric presents the event for the second consecutive year, and organizers call this the largest edition to date. That claim carries no attendance figure; the organizers have not released one for a show that a prior report said grew 30 percent.

Early Bird pricing runs through August 6 and saves attendees $40 on show passes. Beauty professional, student and instructor bundles are sold online or in person at SalonCentric and State | RDA stores.

Event Director Erin McDonald framed the pitch in career terms. "This isn't just another show—it's where top artists, educators, and brands who make this industry thrive come to share their expertise, and where professionals, students, and entrepreneurs gain unparalleled access to education, connections, and opportunities that move careers forward," McDonald said. What does this change for a working stylist in Texas? Mainly access: free education, on-site continuing education credit, and show-only pricing in one building over two days.

What's new on the exhibit floor?

The SalonCentric Pavilion anchors the new activations. Brand partners include Bumble and bumble, Color Wow, Framar, House of Foils and Redken, offering product discovery and interactive education. The SalonCentric booth runs a Gamified Experience with custom swag and future education opportunities as prizes.

The most concrete new offering is the Dry Head Spa Certification. Attendees can enroll on site and gain specialized training in a service category SalonCentric calls one of the fastest-growing in beauty. No pricing for the certification appears in the announcement; interested stylists should expect to confirm cost at the booth.

What returns from prior editions?

The Premiere Lounge brings back Ulta Beauty with ear piercing and brow services, plus photo activations and The Premiere Charm Bar by OUTCHARMED, where attendees design custom charm bracelets.

Exhibitors confirmed include CHI by Farouk, Kokoist, T3 Micro, Panasonic and Procell Therapies. The Value Center returns with show-only discounts on professional tools and products for salons, spas and barbershops. Organizers have not specified which brands participate in the Value Center or how deep the discounts run.

Who teaches, and can Texas pros earn CE hours?

The educator lineup includes Rachel Bynum, Presley Poe, Leysa Carrillo, Nicck Townsend, Kirsty Meakin, Savannah Hicks, Olivia Thompson and Wayne Tuggle, alongside SalonCentric education staff.

Texas licensees can complete state cosmetology continuing education requirements through approved on-site CE classes. Representatives from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for Barbering and Cosmetology will answer licensing questions at the show. That removes a paperwork step for Texas pros who plan ahead.

Main Stage and Barber Stage programming features Bumble and bumble, David Lopez for Ulta Beauty, Anna Cantu for CHI by Farouk, Byrd Mena, Ivan Ross for WAHL, Matty Conrad and Danny Amorim.

LeAnn Bobitt, SVP Brand Strategy at SalonCentric, tied the lineup to salon outcomes. "From hands-on demonstrations to expert-led sessions with the educators and brands shaping professional beauty, we're here to empower attendees with the resources and inspiration that translate directly into salon success," Bobitt said. Inspiration does not translate to revenue by itself; the on-site certifications and CE credits are the measurable pieces.

What competitions are on the schedule?

Nailympia, powered by Scratch Magazine, brings live, poster and turn-in categories for nail artists at every skill level. The Professional and Student Barber Battles, powered by L3VEL3 and sponsored by JRL, give emerging and established barbers a stage for industry recognition. Prize amounts are not listed in the announcement.

Premiere Shows operates as USA Beauty LLC, a joint venture among Informa Markets, BolognaFiere and the Professional Beauty Association, which also runs Cosmoprof North America in Las Vegas and Miami. Registration is open now at premieresanantonioshow.com, with the $40 discount available through August 6.
