America's Beauty Show will launch its 2027 season on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, with an immersive PULSE gallery experience at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. The event runs 6:00–7:30 p.m. CST.

The evening marks the official debut of the America's Beauty Show 2027 Creative Direction and Model Imagery Collection, produced by the Chrystofer Benson (CBC) Artist Team. Guests will view the work in a gallery-style environment that translates PULSE — The Heartbeat of the Professional Beauty Industry — into a visual language built around movement, transformation, and human connection.

"The theme of ABS 2027 is Pulse. Pulse to me is energy, and energy is everything — you can feel it, and I think it is how you put energy into things," said Chrystofer Benson, Founder of CBC, Editor in Chief of Collective INKD Magazine, and globally awarded artist. "We asked our award-winning team to find different movements that happen with Pulse — the lines, the linear movements, and how we incorporate that into braids, into barbering, into cutting, and the range in what we did naturally is what CBC is."

What does the October 13 event include?

The launch doubles as a press conference and first-look briefing for the 2027 show. Beauty professionals, media, artists, educators, industry leaders, brands, and partners will gather to preview what's ahead. Guests can connect directly with the Cosmetologists Chicago Board of Directors and the America's Beauty Show Team in a format designed for conversation, collaboration, and community.

Megan Goggin, Vice President of Marketing at America's Beauty Show, framed the theme in community terms. "America's Beauty Show is the heartbeat of the professional beauty industry, and at the center of that heartbeat are the people who make this community extraordinary," Goggin said. "PULSE brings all that energy together. In 2027, we're inviting our community to EXPERIENCE the PULSE, together."

How big is ABS 2027?

The main event runs Saturday, April 3 through Monday, April 5, 2027, again at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. The 2027 program is set to include:

• More than 200 CEUs and 400 classes across hair, color, barbering, nails, esthetics, skincare, makeup, business, health and wellness, and professional development
• Hundreds of brands with opportunities to test new products, techniques, trends, and innovations
• The Health & Wellness Pavilion
• Barbering, Nail, and Student Competitions
• The She Leads Network
• Evening entertainment and an enhanced Value Center

The timing carries practical weight for Illinois licensees: 2027 is a renewal year for cosmetologists and estheticians in the state, making the show's continuing education credits directly relevant to license renewal.

What about the Global Image Awards?

Entries for the 2027 ABS Global Image Awards (GIA) remain open through Monday, November 30, 2026. The competition gives artists worldwide a platform to have their creativity, technical excellence, and vision judged and celebrated internationally.

America's Beauty Show is owned and produced by Cosmetologists Chicago. With the October gallery launch, the organization positions the 2027 season as a three-day convergence of education, artistry, and commerce — and gives licensed professionals an early look at the creative direction that will define the show floor next April.
